Drew Ridgeway's four years of baking experience paid off Sunday night. Not only did his chocolate layer cake win grand champion at the Great Frederick Fair, it also sold for more than $2,500 in the 4-H Cake Auction.As the auction heated up, the 12-year-old from Libertytown carried his pricey confection through a drooling crowd of more than 200 people, chalking up bids for the sweet treat.
